Dog Friendly Places in Panama City Beach

When you come to Panama City Beach you don’t have to leave your furry friend behind! Most people consider their pets as full members of the family. Being around our dogs makes our lives a little brighter too, they go where we go! We have compiled a list of dog friendly area’s where you can take your pets for a good time and then a few suggestions on places that have dog friendly dining

Dog Friendly Places in Panama City Beach

Pier Park

The outside common dining area in the middle of Pier Park, by Starbucks and the Candy Maker is dog friendly. Besides the food here, live music or other themed activities go on in this area depending on when you visit. Leashes required.

Most of the stores in Pier Park also seem to have pretty relaxed policies on allowing dogs to come in while you shop.

Dog Beach at Pier Park

The only beach in PCB where dogs are allowed is the Dog Beach at Pier Park. When standing in front of the city pier (on Front Beach Rd), the dog beach is located on the right side of the pier. Dogs must be kept on-leash and please keep the limit to 3 dogs per person.

Aaron Bessant Park

This park has an amphitheater and a large grassy field. It’s located right behind the shopping area of Pier Park. On nights where they have live music playing bring your dog, your blanket and some snacks for a great time. Leashes required.

Dog Friendly Places in Panama City Beach

Frank Brown Park

A park that offers walking trails, Playground equipment, tennis, swimming, basketball softball fields ALSO has a Dog park. The dog park is double gated on both entrances and is squared off so that your Dog can run free. There is a shaded area, a water fountain and usually an abandoned, slightly chewed up Frisbee. Leashes are not required within the dog park area.

PCB Conservation Park

For those that enjoy long walks or bike rides, this park offers 24 miles of trail length and 12 different trails to choose from. A great way to take in preserved wildlife with your dog while getting some exercise. Leashes required. Two dog per person limit.

Shell Island

Dogs need to be kept out of the protected areas of Shell Island but dogs are welcome in the Spanish Ante area. Leashes required.

The Sheraton Bay Point is dog friendly and allows dogs in the star bucks and the restaurants on site.
